ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Kathleen’s approach to jewelry design stems from a desire for jewelry to be more than mere adornment, but a way to express the beauty of our personal stories as well as timeless truths about faith and love. 

Self-taught, she has always trusted her instincts for beauty.  After a decade working as an interior designer on Chicago’s North Shore, Kathleen was inspired to channel her creative energies into designing fine jewelry, eventually founding Darśana Jewelry with the launch of her capsule collection in 2017.  In just three short years Darśana jewelry is an award winning collection carried in some of the finest independent stores throughout the country.  

Her daughters, Lucy, Sophie and Vivienne, are the inspiration behind Darśana Jewelry - a collection of modern heirlooms meant to be cherished and passed on.

Kathleen, resides in Nashville, TN with her husband, Stephen, and their giant baby dogs, Jack Bauer and Charlie.
